Romantic comedy "Always Be My Maybe" had its world premiere in Los Angeles, where stars Ali Wong, Randall Park and Keanu Reeves took time to sign autographs for eager fans.

The movie hopes to add another step to the forward trajectory of Asian representation on the big screen. Reeves says he thinks that it's good that Hollywood is starting to embrace diversity. "It's such a wonderful time for storytelling and I think it's a really great time in our culture and our society to be more inclusive and to be telling all of these stories; it's only going to make us better, you know, and that's what art is for."

The rom-com - written, produced and starring Wong and Park - tells the story of two childhood best friends (Sasha and Marcus) who everyone always thought would end up together. However, things turned sour one night when they were teenagers.

Wong and Park have been good friends for a long time and their on-screen and off-screen chemistry was evident.

"We find the same things funny and we make each other laugh so much." said Wong "I mean it's kind of a guarantee when we have a conversation, it'll always get to this absurd, silly point and we go back-and-forth".

"Yeah, we will just build and build and build and I think the writing of the movie was a lot of that," said Park.
