At the premiere of "Big Little Lies" second season in New York, Reese Witherspoon says if there's more to explore, it's up to the book's author Liane Moriarty.
"I don't know, I have no idea,"said Witherspoon "We didn't think there was gonna be a season two but we had more stories to tell and Liane Moriarty luckily like thought up all this incredible story and narrative that needed to be explored."

Season one of "Big Little Lies" was based on the novel of the same name by Moriarty.
She wrote a novella that was used as a template for season two, which David E. Kelly again adapted for television.
Season two deals with the aftermath of the death of Alexander Skarsgard's character, Perry. Meryl Streep has joined the cast as his mother, who is looking for answers about his death.
"Big Little Lies" season two debuts on HBO on June 9.
