Lang Lang marries 24-year-old German pianist

World-renowned pianist Lang Lang released nine wedding photos on his Sina Weibo account on Sunday, revealing a 24-year-old German pianist as his new bride.

The 36 year old wrote "I found my Alice, She is Gina Alice."

Lang Lang has seldom talked openly about his private life, but some Chinese media reported that he was to hold a wedding ceremony at a hotel in France and a wedding banquet at the Palace of Versailles on Sunday.

It is reported that Lang Lang and Alice met in Berlin a few years ago. Alice is half German and half Korean. She started to learn piano at 4 years old, gave a solo performance in public at age 8, and graduated from the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg.

She has held concerts at the Berliner Philharmonie three times and many times in Guangzhou and Shenzhen in the past few years. She is fluent in German, English, French, Korean and Chinese.
