Country stars rehearse for CMT Music Awards
Some of country music's top talents are busy rehearsing for the CMT Music Awards.
The fan-voted show honors the year's best country music videos.
The show will feature a number of collaborative performances, including Brandi Carlile and Tanya Tucker; Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town and Trombone Shorty; and Sheryl Crow and Morris.
Other performers include Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band and Luke Bryan.
Bryan joked that when he showed up to practice he was wowed by his elaborate set.
"I walked in, I'm like, 'They spent a lot of money on me," said Bryan. "I'm happy about that, I mean, you know, no skimpin' on the ole Lukey boy here. I got the full budget. I got to go hit the treadmill, maybe do a cleanse, shed a pound or two tomorrow."
Carrie Underwood is the queen of the CMT Music Awards. The singer has the most wins in the show's history with 18 and could take home more trophies this year.
Returning to perform this year is Kelsea Ballerini, who will be showcasing her hit "Miss Me More."

"Last year at CMTs we did 'I Hate Love Songs.' It was very stripped, very casual, chill," said Ballerini. "And so, this year we got to, we've got to ramp it back up. So it'll be, glittery. And maybe there is a glittery fire situation. I don't know. I haven't seen it yet so I'm nervous, excited."
The CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville in a couple of hours.
