Kylie Jenner slammed for "Handmaid's Tale" outfit

Kylie Jenner is being trolled on the Internet for dressing up in costumes from "The Handmaid's Tale" for a themed party over the weekend.

The event was in honor of Jenner's friend Anastasia "Stassie" Karanikolaou's birthday. The Internet senation decked out her home to look like Gilead, the fictional setting of the popular Hulu series.

However, not everyone is impressed by the pals appearing to glamorize a show which highlights serious issues, including violations of women's rights. "I honestly believe Kylie Jenner did NOT understand The Handmaids Tale if she's throwing a themed party about it," wrote one Twitter user.
