The game "Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative" will be launched for fans in China thanks to a new partnership between China Film Group and the Japanese video game company Bandai Namco.
"With our concerted efforts, our cooperation can be enhanced and expanded into film investments and production and distribution, as well as other fields. I hope 'Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative' will be a box office success in China," said Zhou Baolin, the vice president of China Film Group.
The Beijing-based media company Dingsheng is also a member of the new partnership. They have previously worked with Bandai Namco on bringing the Japanese animated science fiction film "Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative" to China.
The film, which is due to hit screen in China on Wednesday, is based on the 11th Gundam Unicorn novel, "Phoenix Hunting". It covers the events of the next 100 years in the Universal Century timeline after "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack".
