Rock singer Matzka gives a live show in Beijing

Reggae-rock singer Matzka, leading a band of Taiwan aboriginal descents, kicked off a tour in Beijing on Wednesday.

The four-man band was formed in 2008 and named after the lead vocalist Matzka.

After showing up in several music reality TV shows, including The Big Band and This Is Original, Matzka has recently signed a contract with Universal Music China.

The singer's Summer Party tour will take Matzka and his band to a number of cities, including Chengdu, Kunming, and Shenzhen.
