89-year old Hollywood heavyweight Clint Eastwood's new film "Mule" will be released in cinemas in China on Aug.26.

Eastwood plays Earl Stone, a man in his 80s who is broke and alone, who is offered a job as a driver. What he doesn't' realize is that he's signed on to be a drug courier for a Mexican cartel.

Eastwood is both the director and the star of the film. It's Eastwood's first acting role since "Trouble with the Curve" in 2012.

"Mule" was released by Warner Brothers at the end of last year in the United States, where it took in more than 100 million U.S. dollars at the box office. Following its global release, the film has pulled in more than 170 million U.S. dollars.
