"They're so impressive to me and they're everything that I love seeing and I want my girls to see. I have two daughters and to watch women work collectively and show how strong they are," said McCarthy. "And we're better together and they are, they are that personified, and they live it. They are so inspiring to me and my girls and I think everybody and so to meet them I really was, like I got really nervous. And they're so nice and really cool and I just thought it meant a lot to me that they wanted to get behind it."
McCarthy, Elisabeth Moss and Tiffany Haddish star in the gritty, female-driven mob drama "The Kitchen." They play three mobster wives whose husbands are sent to prison by the FBI. In order to pay their bills, the wives take business into their own hands, running the neighborhood under their terms.
The movie is in theaters this Friday.
