Mainland suspends participation in Golden Horse Film Festival

China has suspended mainland stars and movies from participating in this year's Golden Horse Film Festival in Taipei.

China's State Film Administration made the announcement on Wednesday.

The Golden Horse Film Festival is an annual event held in the Taiwan region.
