The "Fancy Shanghai" show, which started on Monday, covers over 2,000 square meters and displays how the city has changed over the years.
The first show is in the hall at the base of the tower. It features the development of the city over the past 70 years, including photos of the Shanghai International Marathon and Shanghai Tourism Festival.
The show was co-produced by digital artists in Shanghai and an architecture projection mapping company from Hungary. 30 high power projectors are used to make the show possible.

Managing director Tamas Vaspori said "This is a huge challenge for us to do this job. I heard that this is the biggest dome projection ever made in China. We get a lot of inspiration from the tower itself, checking all the parts of the tower".
Each show lasts 12 minutes and take place at 7:00, 8:00, and 8:30 every night.
