World No.1 Go player to challenge 'Alpha Go' in China

The world's top Go player, Ke Jie, along with other top Go players from China will face-off against Google's Go-playing computer program 'Alpha Go' at the end of May in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, Xinhua reported.

It is said that the entire competition will last for five days and the winner of the human-AI Go match will be decided through three rounds.
Last year, Alpha Go ended an historic match game with Go grandmaster Lee Sedol of South Korea by taking a 4-1 lead with its fourth victory in the final match of the best-of-five series.
Earlier this year, the AI player 'Aplha Go' hit the headlines again by achieving 60 straight online victories over more than 5 of Asia's top Go players.
A news press for the match this time will be held on April 10.
