China's Wang Qiang beat Chang Kai-Chen of Chinese Taipei in straight sets to reach the second round of the Wimbledon Championships on Monday.
Wang, ranked 55th in the world, won her first match here with a 6-3, 6-4 victory in one hour and six minutes.
The 25-year-old lost both her first round matches in 2015 and 2016.
She will next take on either former world No. 1 Venus Williams or Belgium's Elise Mertens.
