King breaks women's 50m breaststroke world record
The last day of the 2017 FINA World Championships featured eight exciting finals as the United States finished its most successful World Championships with 38 total medals.
China ended up in 3rd place overall with 10 medals, including 3 gold.

It was King's fourth gold medal in Budapest including the women's 4x100m medley relay, which saw the she and Kathleen Baker, Kelsi Worrell, Simone Manuel rewrote the world record with a finish of three minutes 51.55 seconds. China was 6th in that race.
"The relay records were kind of the cherry on top, but the individual records were definitely something I've been looking forward to since Rio, my next goals for the next season, so hopefully we'll repeat again next year," King said.

The United States won another gold in the pool in the men's 4x100m medley relay.
In Women's 50 free, Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom just missed her world record that she set the previous night in the semi-finals but still finished in 23.69 for the gold medal. China's Liu Xiang placed 6th.
France's Camille Lacourt closed his career out in style with his third straight World title in the 50 backstroke. Lacourt swam 24.35 seconds to win the event.

"So much emotion because it is my last one, I could see all my career, I was thinking about my friends, my family, it's very, very great," Camille said.
In men's 1500 free, Italian Gregorio Paltrinieri defended his world title with a time of 14 minutes 35.85 seconds.
