Guangzhou Evergrande makes epic comeback in FA Cup quarterfinal
Guangzhou Evergrande has completed an epic turnaround in the Chinese FA Cup quarterfinal against crosstown rival Guangzhou R&F.

Evergrande had home field in the second leg of this matchup and thrilled the crowd with a 7-2 victory.
They had lost the first leg 4-2 but the seven goal explosion has secured a 9-6 win on aggregate, propelling Evergrande into the semifinal.
The game did not get off to a great start for the home team. Renatinho opened the scoring for R&F shortly after the five minute mark with a successful penalty kick.
Evergrande woke up after that, scoring three goals. Yu Hanchao added another just before the half to give Evergrande a 4-1 lead. Gao Lin made it 5-1 in the 68th minute.
Zahavi scored R&F's second goal but Zhang Chenglin and Alan padded the Evergrande score to secure victory in the game and the series.
In another quarterfinal, Shanghai Shenxin beat Jiangsu Suning 2-1, and advanced 4-3 on aggregate.
