Shanghai Greenland Shenhua wins 2017 CFA Cup title

Shanghai Greenland Shenhua has won the CFA Cup on the strength of its away goals, beating city rivals Shanghai SIPG on Sunday night.

The win gives Greenland an automatic berth in next year's AFC Champions League.

Shanghai SIPG has ended the season empty-handed.

It was eliminated in the semifinal at the AFC Champions League and finished as runner-ups in both the CFA Cup and the Chinese Super League.
