Ethiopian, Kenyan runners win Changchun International Marathon
Runners from Ethiopia and Kenya swept titles in men's and women's events at the Changchun International Marathon 2018 here on Sunday, while Chinese runners finished strong in both categories.

In the men's full marathon race, Tulu Feleke Darsema from Ethiopia claimed the title in 2 hours 28 minutes and 1 second. Kenyan athlete Lagatt Elijah Kiptoo finished second in 2:28:24. The third place went to Chinese runner Wan Ma, who finished the race in 2:29:14.

In the women's category, Kenyan runners Bor Viola Chepleting and Kirop Helena Loshanyang snatched the top two seats in 2:44:53 and 2:46:27, respectively. Chinese athlete Jiao Anjing finished third in 2:47:25.
Sunday's race saw 30,000 runners from across the world brave rains on the streets of Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin province.
The first Changchun International Marathon was held in May 2017.
