Michael Schumacher’s wife shares rare comments on stricken F1 star’s health
The heartbreaking contents of a letter that Michael Schumacher's wife, Corinna, sent to a well-wisher after his skiing accident have been revealed, English newspaper the Sun reported on Tuesday.
The letter was reportedly sent to German musician Sascha Herchenbach, who revealed its contents in an interview with Bunte magazine. Corinna Schumacher described her husband, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, as a "fighter" in the note.

“I would like to sincerely thank you for your message and nice gift that will help us through this difficult time," Corinna Schumacher wrote.
“It is good to receive so many kind wishes and other well-intentioned words - which is a great support for our family.
“We all know Michael is a fighter and will not give up.”
Herchenbach received the letter at an unknown time after Schumacher's tragic accident, which occurred five years ago during a skiing holiday in France. The note was in response to Herchenbach sending the family a recording of his new song, named Born To Fight, which he composed after Schumacher's accident on December 29, 2013.
“I had not expected to get an answer and was overwhelmed," Herchenbach told Bunte.
“The letter was handwritten and signed by Corinna on her stationery.
The condition of Schumacher, 49, remains a closely-guarded secret. It is believed that he remains in his luxury home at Lake Geneva, Switzerland, where he is cared for by a medical team.
