Cristiano Ronaldo wins goal and player of the year at Globe Soccer Awards
Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo picked up two Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai on Thursday for player of the year and goal of the year.
Ronaldo beat Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe to the player award, and won the goal award for his overhead kick for former club Real Madrid against his current outfit, Juventus, in last season's UEFA Champions League.

Didier Deschamps won best coach after he guided his nation, France, to World Cup glory.
Brazil's legendary striker Ronaldo and Italian managerial great Fabio Capello won lifetime achievement awards.
Another France World Cup winner - Blaise Matuidi - also won a career award, while Liverpool's Alisson won best goalkeeper.
Atletico Madrid won Club of the Year, Juventus' Fabio Paratici received the best sporting director award and Jorge Mendes won agent of the year.
