Chengdu makes bid to host 2025 World Games
Chengdu is bidding for the 2025 World Games.
Officials from the International World Games Association visited sporting venues in the city on Thursday and say conditions for holding the event have been met.

A final decision on the host city will be made in May.
The World Games, first held in 1981, is an international multi-sport event, meant for sports that are not contested in the Olympic Games.
The next Games will be held in Birmingham in the US in 2021.
