China to pilot football-focused kindergartens

It's been confirmed that trial runs for football-focused kindergartens are to be launched this year in China.

Each provincial-level area is to have 50 to 200 football-focused kindergartens.

The pilot program is designed to cultivate interest in the sport at a young age.

Various physical activities tailored for kids will be incorporated into the schools to help improve their basic sports abilities.
