Ningbo International Marathon to feature family race

Organizers of the 2019 Ningbo International Marathon have announced that the competition will add a new family group race this year for more children to participate.

Over 300 families are expected to compete in a 3.5-kilometer mini marathon.

Meanwhile the tournament will set a 42.195 kilometer full route and a half route race for 7000 runners from home and abroad.

Those who are able to finish the full route marathon in Ningbo will be eligible to attend the 2020 Hangzhou International Marathon for free.

Participants will also be given priority accesses to Taiyuan Marathon and Chongqing Women’s Half Marathon races.

The 2019 Ningbo International Marathon is set to take place on October 26th.

The race is the sixth stop of the Run China marathon series, which includes 13 city marathons across the country this year.

Runners can register for the Ningbo race between August 5th and 19th.
