Belt and Road International Regatta to make sail in December

The inaugural Belt and Road International Regatta is set to take place next month in Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, orgianizers announced at a press conference on Monday.

The Yacht race will happen around the iconic Weizhou Island starting from December 13th.

Following Beihai, three more stages will be held in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore through mid-January.

The event will also involve promotion and youth regatta activities in the three countries.

The one-month race has invited sailing clubs from several Belt and Road countries to participate.
