The charges were related to "the killing of Babikir who was martyred at Buri area," said a prosecution statement.
The prosecution also called for accelerating the investigations of all murder law suits related to the recent protests.
Earlier, Sudan's acting Attorney General Al-Waleed Sid-Ahmed Mahmoud ordered the judiciary to question al-Bashir over the charges of money laundering and financing terrorism.
Sudan's Transitional Military Council, chaired by Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, is tasked with running the country's affairs following the downfall of al-Bashir's regime.
