At least 23 killed in Venezuela prison riot

At least 23 prisoners died on Friday during a confrontation in a prison in northwest Venezuela, according to local media reports.

The incident occurred in the Jose Antonio Paez Police Coordination Center in the city of Acarigua of the Portuguesa state, according to local media.
