The venue, covering an area of about 65,032.128 square meters, has been divided into 47 blocks, it said, adding that special attention has been also given on convenience of the participants and overall security.

The event will highlight the concerns related to the environment. "Khadi (a hand-woven natural fiber cloth) yoga mats" will be used in place of rubber mats to promote the eco-friendly material.

Modi will arrive at Ranchi on Thursday night and the program will start at 6:30 a.m. (local time), it added.

International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on June 21 since its inception in 2015.
