A rare blue lobster was found in an order placed by a U.S. restaurant called Arnold's Lobster and Clam Bar, in Eastham, Massachusetts earlier this week.

Restaurant owner Nathan Nickerson plans to keep it on display at the restaurant for another week until he donates it to an aquarium.
According to a study of University of Maine's Lobster Institute, a blue lobster can be found in 1 of every 2 million. Lobsters are usually reddish brown or greenish brown. However, a genetic defect can cause them to overproduce a particular protein and eventually turn into blue lobsters.
