“害虫”助力发展 Raising locusts to develop

In Yanshan, Hebei, farmers are raising edible locusts(蝗虫) to get rid(摆脱) of poverty(贫穷).Yanshan used to be threatened(威胁) by locust plagues in the past. But now, as locusts among with other insects(昆虫) are popular types of food(食物) in many parts of China, the breeding(养殖) of edible locusts has helped the county to develop(发展). Their products are sold to cities such as Tianjin, Jinan, etc..

中国盐山地区曾经是蝗虫灾害的高发区。如今,随着蝗虫等昆虫成为受欢迎的美食,当地积极发展大棚养殖食用蝗虫,助力当地农民脱贫增收,产品销售到天津、济南、石家庄等地。
