中国各地迎腊八 Laba Festival marked around China

The Laba Festival（腊八节）, a traditional（传统的） Chinese festival on the eighth day of the 12th lunar（阴历的） month, fell on Jan. 24 this year.

Voluntary workers（义工） prepare（准备） bowls（碗） with Laba porridge（腊八粥） at the Lingyin Temple（灵隐寺） in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, Jan. 23, 2018. 

The temple will send more than 300,000 sets of free（免费的） Laba porridge to construction sites（工地）, communities（社区）, hospitals（医院）, nursing homes（养老院） and welfare houses（福利院） during this year's Laba Festival. 

Seniors living alone gather to eat Laba porridge and celebrate the festival at Nanyuan Village of Taiping Township of Nanchang City, east China's Jiangxi Province.

Some foreign students（留学生） from South Korea and Cambodia take selfie（自拍） with Laba porridge at a community in Hefei, east China's Anhui Province.
