中国各地庆元宵 Various activities held across China to greet upcoming Lantern Festival
The Lantern Festival(元宵节) with a history(历史) of over 2,000 years falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month,or March 2 this year. It marks(标志) the final(最后的) day of the Lunar New Year(春节). Activities(活动) include lighting lanterns, guessing lantern riddles(猜灯谜) and eating Yuanxiao(吃元宵), a dumpling made with different fillings.
