Group wedding held in Jiangsu

Some 36 elderly couples took part in a group wedding ceremony to celebrate the upcoming Chongyang Festival in the city of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, on October 21, 2017. The couples could not afford to hold a wedding ceremony when they got married years ago. Organizers said the event aims to encourage people from all areas of the society to not only pay attention to the physical and spiritual life of the elderly but also to respect and love them.
