Technicians cut a steel plate during the commencement of the construction of the project's first vessel in Haimen, in east China's Jiangsu Province on March 16, 2018. The 104-meter-long and 18-meter-wide vessel will weigh 7,400 tons, with a speed of at least 15.5 nautical miles per hour. With a high-standard ice-breaking capability, the vessel will be able to travel at circumpolar latitudes. [Photo: Xinhua]
