Model of intercontinental high-speed train on display in Shanghai

​A model of an intercontinental high-speed train concept from China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation was on display in Shanghai, China, on Thursday, May 10, 2018. The double-decker train would carry passengers on the upper level, and freight on the lower deck. Meanwhile, China Railway Group has also announced its plans to build eight new north-south rail routes, and a further eight east-west routes.
