Researchers discover rare insects in Sichuan mountain cave

This photo, taken on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, shows the beaded landscape made by a kind of insect called Diptera. This is the first time such insects have been discovered in Sichuan Province. It is one of a variety of insects discovered by a research team from the Insect Museum of West China in a cave at Wulong Mountain, including giant termites and crab spiders. [Photo: IC]
