University students turn waste straws into sculptures

Students are using waste straws to make their art works. Students of Nanjing Forestry University make straw sculptures at Xitian Agriculture Park in Nanjing in East China. This year, the theme of Straw Scenery Design Contest is "Rural dreamer on straw piles". Usually the straws will be burnt by farmers after harvest, but this year, students made them into sculptures.
