China's police dog competition wraps up in Beijing

Over 130 police dogs and their handlers were put through their paces at the Chinese national police dog competition in Beijing, showcasing their abilities in various exercises. The competition wrapped up with the winning dogs showing off what exactly won them the top honors. The competition which started on Tuesday, saw over 130 dogs and 160 police officers taking part this year. From Rottweiler to German Shepherds, the canines competed in exercise scenarios including searching, patrolling and chasing. This event is held every four years. [Photo: VCG]
