Construction of new Beijing airport nears completion

Work to build the roof of Beijing's new Daxing International Airport is nearing completion. Seen here on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 the construction work is due to finish next year.The winged phoenix design of the Beijing Daxing International Airport means that, although there are 82 gates throughout the terminal, it will take passengers less than eight minutes to walk from the center of the terminal to any of the gates.
