Bird's Nest opens to the public for Ice and Snow Festival

Elementary students play at the Bird's Nest or the National Stadium of China during the 10th Ice and Snow Festival in Beijing, December 29, 2018. Visitors can enjoy the fun of over 20 different kinds of winter sports with the artificial snow, mini ski slopes and skating rinks at the venue. The festival will last until February 28, 2019, during which visitors under the age of 15 will enjoy ticket discounts to encourage the youngsters to take part in winter sports. [Photo: VCG]
