China's first 'Chu Culture' themed KFC restaurant opens in Wuhan

KFC teamed up with the Hubei Provincial Museum to open China's first "Chu Culture" themed restaurant on December 22, 2018 in Wuhan, the capital city of the province. Embellished with Chu elements such as chimes, bamboo slips, scroll painting, the restaurant is designed to spread the splendid traditional culture to teenagers. Chu was a hegemonic, Zhou dynasty era state, including most of the present-day provinces of Hubei and Hunan.[Photo:IC]
