Silk road history told in song and dance

The story of the ancient Silk Road is told through music and dance at the Changji Grand Theatre close to Urumqi in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The music show 'Back to the Silk Road' assembles 300 international dancers including those from Ukraine and Russia. On top of incorporating 3D lighting and sound effects with acrobatic performances, the show also brings real horses and camels on stage which has become one of its highlights.
