Icy costume plunge to celebrate Lantern Festival

The Chinese Lantern Festival falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. It marks the end of the Chinese New Year's celebration. Traditionally, people light lanterns, watch the moon and eat "yuanxiao," a traditional sweet glutinous rice ball. Traditional folk performances are also held in local communities across China.
