55-year-old Li Zhitie holds rice seeds in Hongqi Village in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, April 12, 2019. As a Korean ethnic minority in China, Li Zhitie speaks both Chinese and Korean, which made it easier for him to go abroad to South Korea to work. In 2015, Li came back to his hometown to be a farmer. Now he owns four hectares of farmland, mainly growing rice and corn. He also established a rural cooperative with some of his neighbors in the village. Li said he hopes to create the village's own rice brand in the future. [Photo: China Plus/Huang Yue]
