A survivor carries his baby as he joins some 1000 survivors on a nine-hour walk from the village of Qingping to Hanwang, after the earthquake in southwest China’s Sichuan Province, May 16, 2008. Qingping, located some 20km (12.4 miles) from Hanwang, was hit badly by the earthquake and the only road into it was blocked by landslides. The village, home to 4,000 people, has no water and electricity. On May 12, 2008, the 8.0-magnitude quake that hit Wenchuan of Sichuan killed more than 69,000 people and left nearly 18,000 missing and millions homeless. [Photo: Reuters/Nir Elias via VCG]
