Nightclub shooting on New Year's Eve party in Istanbul, Turkey, January 1, 2017. A gunman wearing a Santa costume opened fire in the Reina nightclub in the city. 39 people were shot dead and 69 were wounded. The attacker, Abdulkadir Masharipov, was arrested on January 17.
