The Tasmania devil got its name because of its aggressive nature. A grown up Tasmania devil is only about half the size of a cat, but is the largest meat-eating marsupial. It's known for its greediness, and can eat till its belly explodes. The species is listed as endangered with only 10 to 25 thousand Tasmania devils left in the wild according to a 2008 assessment.
