A three-floor 'sunshine mansion' in Vancouver, Canada is looking for a new owner, should you have $12.8 million US dollars. The unique property is around 1.2 acres, with two pools, a pond and a mansion with four bedrooms. The home has been built using arched glass bricks, allowing more sunshine in. Reflecting pools also reflect sunshine into virtually all corners of the homes. And to make the house fit into the surrounding natural backdrop, stainless steel coated with dichromate has been used to make the house looks like bedrock. Designed pre-eminent Canadian architect Arthur Erickson in 1979, the house was completed in 1988 after nine years of construction. The present owner, Hugo Eppich, who is in his 80s, says he's decided to sell for practical reasons, saying a cozy apartment will be much easier for him to take care and live in. [Photo: IC]
