Polar bear mother reunite with lost one-year-old cub

A concerned polar bear mum desperately tried to find her lost one-year-old daughter after a brief separation. Although she could hear the cub's cries, she was out of sight at the base of the ice wall. Hearing her cub, the mother scrambled down the ice. Not finding her offspring, she ascended again, only to repeat the clumsy jump off the ledge in an effort to find the missing cub. "Finally the gambolling cub located her mother and after a short reunion they investigated the upper reaches of the icy tenement," said Paul Goldstein, the photographer who happened to capture the family drama.
