Gao and her workers make
beautiful porcelain goods. But their
skills did not come easy. Thirty years ago,
a pregnant Gao finished a three-year
course in three months to save the factory.

a better place to live.

After ten years of working in big cities,
Wuli brought knowledge back to his small
village of 200 people in the mountains
and build a better life for his people.

lost part of his right arm,
but did not lose hope.
"The work people do with two hands,
I can complete with one", he said.

Liu’s village has a tradition of keeping
honeybees. The bees live in the cleanest
habitat and make the purest honey,
but they were never able to make profit
from it. Until one day, Liu got a phone call
from the village head.

Shang could just work in a factory away
from home like his parents.
But he wanted to find a way so that
country kids can grow up spending more
time with their parents. He found his
solution in a group of chickens.
