Zheng Jinqiang

"Zheng is currently a postgraduate student of international journalism and communication at Communication University of China. He graduated as an English major with a minor in Finance at Sun Yat-sen University. A freelance interpreter and translator, Zheng is also interested in the study of phonetics and English teaching. He runs a Weibo account specialized in English teaching and has his own podcast on multiple English-teaching apps and websites. 

Zheng also shows strong interests in internet communications, global news reports as well as media marketing on emerging platforms. He has internship experience with major news outlets, such as China Daily and the Associated Press, where he was able to produce several news items with over 100,000 online views. He also served in the capacity of an intern correspondent at the European Union Bureau of China Daily in Brussels and contributed to China Daily's special coverage of the Belt and Road initiative. Presently, he is an editorial board member of his university's news review account on Wechat "covricuc". He has published essays in the fields of journalism and communication on journals such as Modern Communication and Southeast Communication."
