Traditional Tibetan thangka painting

With a history of more than 1,300 years, thangka painting is an amalgamation of art and faith. The composition of each piece is geometric. The various religious elements to the design are also laid out on angles and lines. Thangka painters faithfully pass down the art form from master to apprentices in a historical line of succession which dates back centuries.
